1 & 2km Run Series at Fremantle

Last Saturday was a busy and exciting day at the beach. You may have noticed runners making their way up and down Leighton Beach as part of the 1 & 2 km Run series event.

This race brought together members from several clubs, with more than 60 competitors travelling from as far as Binningup to take part.

It was a fantastic day to be on the beach and to be involved. The morning wrapped up perfectly with a well-deserved BBQ breakfast enjoyed by everyone after the race.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and coordinators who helped make the day such a success.

There are more Run Series events open for registration—great opportunities to challenge yourself ahead of the upcoming season.
