Adult SRC Course – November

Parents are invited to attend a Surf Rescue Certificate course for adults. As long as you can achieve the swim outlined in the pre-qualification below, you will find this a rewarding involvement.

Dates:

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, 4 November, 11 November and 18 November 2025

7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Sunday 9 November, 16 November and 23 November 2025

Pre-qualification: Ability to complete a 200m swim in under 5 minutes.  It is essential that you have done some swimming beforehand.

Course content:

1. Dry sessions: Basic first aid including resuscitation, radio use and familiarisation with patrols
2. Wet sessions: Surf skills, board, tube and unaided rescues, signals and resuscitation
3. On-line content .

It is essential you attend all six sessions and complete the online content to qualify. Due to time constraints we are unable to conduct make-up sessions.
