AGM Update: Welcoming Our New President and Acknowledging Dedicated Leadership

Last Friday, 20 June, we held our Annual General Meeting at Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club. It was a great turnout, with members coming together to reflect on the past year and set the direction for the future.

We’re pleased to announce that Liam Burke was elected as the new Club President for the 2025–2027 term. Liam brings a wealth of experience, a passion for community service, and a strong commitment to the values of our club. We look forward to his leadership and the vision he brings for the next chapter of Fremantle SLSC.

We also congratulate Rob Blascetta, who was re-elected as Director of Administration. Rob’s ongoing dedication and knowledge will continue to be an asset as we move ahead.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Jette Oksis, our outgoing president, for her outstanding service and leadership over the past term. Jette’s commitment, energy, and tireless efforts have significantly contributed to the growth and strength of our club, and we are truly grateful for all she has done. Her passion for surf lifesaving, unwavering dedication to community building, and ability to lead with empathy and integrity have left a lasting legacy.

Jette’s efforts have not only shaped the present of Fremantle SLSC but also laid a solid foundation for its future. On behalf of the entire club, we extend our deepest gratitude for her tireless work and leadership.

Thank you to everyone who attended the AGM and continues to support the club. Here’s to another great season ahead!
