Following last Saturday’s event, Fremantle SLSC proudly partnered with Breast Cancer Research WA for Paddle for a Purpose, a meaningful initiative aimed at raising awareness and supporting vital breast cancer research.
The day brought together club members, families, and the wider community in a wonderful display of unity, generosity, and compassion. Participants took to the water with enthusiasm, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with encouragement and connection. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to support a cause that resonates deeply with our club.
Supporting this event is incredibly important to Fremantle SLSC and its members, as it reflects our commitment to community wellbeing and to standing alongside those affected by breast cancer.
This year’s event held special significance as we honoured and supported the Rodman family. We were privileged to present the funds raised with Tanita, Breast Cancer Research WA Ambassador and proud Fremantle SLSC member. Her strength, positivity, and dedication to raising awareness continue to inspire our club.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, donated, or showed support on the day. Your involvement helps make a meaningful difference, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Breast Cancer Research WA in future years.
