Fremantle at the Annual Sunset Challenge in Broome

A few weeks ago, Fremantle was proudly represented at the Annual Sunset Challenge, hosted by Broome Surf Life Saving Club. Our talented members, Dakoda and Zander Leavy, made the long trip north to take part in this event.

Zander delivered an outstanding performance, taking home two stunning pearl shell medals—one for the 1km run and another for the sprints. Meanwhile, Dakoda’s determination and effort did not go unnoticed. In a beautiful show of sportsmanship, a fellow competitor from Bunbury recognised her hard work and generously gifted her one of their own pearl shell medals.
