Congratulations Team Freo, and all other teams in what was a great States Carnival, in the challenging, but exciting conditions experienced!
.
Thank you again to all officials, referees, water safety, and our FMSLSC Handlers over the season, whom without, these carnivals would not be possible. Thank you to Trigg Island SLSC, for hosting the States event! We would also like to thank our Fremantle SLSC Admin Team, Jo & Tania, for their unwavering support, and ensuring all our competitors are accounted for and ready to race on the day!
.
Thank you to Mike Shaw for his dedication to the IRB Program for countless years, as team manager, as he now steps down from this position. You will be missed Mike! We would also like to acknowledge Mark Whiting for his help this season, in training to be our manager for future seasons!
.
Lastly, but definitely, not least, we would like to extend a huuugggeee thank you to our IRB Captain & Coach, Luke & Ethan, for all they have done to support the IRB Team’s progression over the last 2 seasons. Not only guiding our IRB Team to success, but looking after IRB Maintenance, and admin, Luke and Ethan truly put their heart and souls into our IRB Program at FMSLSC, and we extend to them a very warm thank you. Being 2nd Team in the state, for the first time in 5 years, is not an easy achievement, and really goes to show the care and dedication they both have in cultivating the IRB Program at the Club.
