Located in North Fremantle, we actively patrol beaches, provide community support, have an excellent junior development and nipper program, and encourage members to reach their full potential through education and surf sports.

We are excited to announce that one of our highly valued and active Club members Javier Mogollon, has been appointed the Club’s first General Manager!
.
Javier Mogollon has been a dedicated member of Fremantle SLSC since 2019, actively participating in diverse activities such as RWC, IRB, and surf boat rowing. His commitment has led him to compete at both state and national levels, achieving significant milestones for the club. 
 .
Javier, a lawyer by profession, graduated from Santa Maria University in his hometown Caracas, Venezuela. He relocated to Australia in 2017 to pursue further studies in Commerce and Finance and successfully completed his master's degree in 2019. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in the resources and mining sectors.
 .
Those who know Javier recognize his enthusiasm as a key member of Fremantle SLSC, particularly his passion for surf boats. In addition to his professional and sporting achievements, Javier is also known for his dedication to community service, often volunteering his time to mentor new members. His multifaceted skills and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable asset to both his professional field and the surf lifesaving community.

Last Sunday, 4 of our Fremantle SLSC Trainers attended an IRB TAF (Trainers and Facilitators) Upskilling Session, updating their skills & techniques to pass on to our Powercraft operators.
.
Run by SLSWA, this course was hosted at Fremantle SLSC, where our trainers from across the State, came together in preparation for an upcoming season of IRB courses, as well as our current IRBDs and IRBCs, requalifying their awards for the season ahead.

🔧 Thanks to our IRB Officers Ethan & Luke, Club Trainer Jodie Pink, and Club Life Member, Mark Regal, for attending this session and assisting with setup as the hosts for all of the clubs at Leighton.

🚤 We look forward to an exciting Powercraft Season ahead, with more of our members pursuing the exciting role of Powercraft Operators.
