UPDATE: Change in Parking Conditions at Leighton Beach

The City of Fremantle, in an effort to guarantee fair parking opportunities for everyone visiting the beach and to prevent long-term parking, will be implementing new parking restrictions. Effective from the mid-May 2025, a new 4-hour free ticket parking restriction will be introduced at Port Beach and Leighton carpark. These changes will only affect the City carparks, while the surrounding streets will remain unaffected.

What does this mean for us, Club Members?

• You will continue to enjoy free parking in the club carpark, and with the new changes, you will have more chances to find a parking bay on a busy day.
• The parking restrictions will not apply to the Club’s special events.
• If you’re a patrol member or volunteer who requires more than 4 hours of parking for club duties, you will receive a parking permit.
• The exclusive Sunday Nippers Limestone Carpark will remain the same during the nipper season.
• If you are on patrol or training duties and receive a fine, please communicate with the club office to have it withdrawn.
